Ipad pro 11 vs 129 reddit. For video editing and some other visual creative arts the ipad 129 inch would be beneficial but for note taking and portability the 11 inch is by far the more superior choice. I love the big screen of 129 its enjoyable when watching movies writing and painting and also has a nice split screen experience. After i spent close to half an hour on the 129 and went back to the 11 my mind was set p.
An 11 inch left and 129 inch right ipad pro with two apps in split view one app in slider over and a movie. Mini 5 is my go anywhere put in cargo pocket device while the 129 would be for home. I owned 97 ipads before and always wanted a bigger one.
Its light and easy to hold and it is not too big and not too small. But this could just be my physiology. The 11 inch ipad is by far the best ipad for portability and note taking.
The 11 inch and 129 inch ipad pro are basically the same tablets. The 129 has better multi windows since its like having two ipad mini screens compare to the ipad pro 11s weird scaling. The 129 allows full size app formatting whereas the 11 uses an iphone layout.
Its the perfect size imho if you use it in more conventional desktop situations. I find this makes a difference in productivity personally. 129 ipad pros latest models hello i currently have a 105 ipad pro and love it however with ipados coming out with sidecar as a feature on catalina i have been looking at getting a new ipad.
So i went from the og ipad 129 to the 105 and then with the revision went back to the 129. Too many people in reviews say that 11 is perfect 129 is too big. 129 is not much heavier than 11 however the center of gravity of 129 is far away from your palm so if you hold it with one hand that will be pretty tiring.
I have a ipad pro 11 and mini 5 now and will prob get the new 129 mled version when it comes out. Discussion on 11 vs. Leaning towards 129 for screen size but not sure.
The extra screen real estate with the smaller form factor of the new 129 is my personal favorite. Also i find the 129 much easier to type on for long periods of time without getting any wrist pain. I was fully prepared to return it for the 11 if it didnt meet my expectations but it completely crushed it.
Both feature the same apple a12z processor both have 6gb of ram and you can choose between 128gb up to 1tb of storage for each. Lets get something important out of the way first. So i got the 129 because i dont go around all day with the ipad in my hands.
